The Salvation Army (Greater NY Division) has filed a WARN notice with New York State Department of Labor on October 5, notifying 120 layoffs.
The Salvation Army is cutting down the Foster Boarding Home and Preventive Care Program in New York. The closing date is given as the 12/31/2009. As a result of this all 120 jobs will be lost.
The reason for closing is given as the “City funding Discontinued”
